Exclusive access to the technical area
You’ll take a private shuttle that will take you to the helicopter area in just a few minutes. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a rare view of the airport: strategic hangars, a privileged view of the control tower, and the exclusive inner workings of El Dorado Airport—a gem for aviation enthusiasts.
Preparing for takeoff
Once you arrive at the Helicol lounges, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing, including all the necessary recommendations to ensure you enjoy your flight with complete peace of mind. In this exclusive space, you’ll wait your turn to board, surrounded by comfort and personalized service.
Before heading to the helicopter, please note that, for safety reasons, the maximum weight allowed per flight is 350 kilograms in total. For this reason, we recommend that you do not bring suitcases or large bags. You can safely leave your belongings in the designated waiting areas.
When the time comes, a shuttle will take you to the boarding area. There, just before boarding the helicopter, we’ll provide you with a state-of-the-art headset, which you can use to hear the pilot’s instructions and communicate in real time with him and the other passengers during the flight.

- Duration of the whole experience:
Approximately 1 hour - Flight duration:
10 to 13 minutes approximately. - Maximum capacity in the helicopter:
4 persons (350 kg total weight). - Minimum age to take the service:
10 years of age and older and there are no maximum age restrictions, as long as the physical and health conditions of the travelers are optimal, i.e. no medical restrictions, people with reduced mobility could not take the flight.

Chemical and toxic substances /Contrusive instruments /Explosives and flammables /Firearms or similar /Liquids, gels and aerosols greater than 100 ml /Objects with sharp points or edges /Not suitable for people with heart problems or high blood pressure /Avoid carrying bulky or heavy objects.

- It is suggested to arrive at least 1 hour before flight departure.
- You must present your ID and check in with the person in charge of Customer Service.
- Meeting point: El Dorado International Airport - Bogota Second Floor / Gate 1 - International Pier.
