Girardot has the Santiago Vila Airport, located in the municipality of Flandes, 3.2 km away, although air traffic is limited. The nearest airports with higher traffic are Perales Airport in Ibagué and El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá. For these reasons, most visitors prefer to arrive by road.
