Child protection policy
In accordance with Law 679 of August 3, 2001 issued by the Congress of the Republic and Law 1336 of 2009, through which provisions are issued to prevent and counteract exploitation, pornography and sexual tourism with minors. In accordance with the provisions of these laws, individuals must prevent, block, combat and report the exploitation, hosting, use, publication, dissemination of images, texts, documents, audiovisual files, improper use of global information networks or the establishment of telematic links of any kind related to pornographic material or allusive to sexual activities of minors. In development of the provisions of Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, ON VACATION warns the tourist that the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are considered crimes and therefore criminally and administratively sanctioned, according to the laws in force. By virtue of this, ON VACATION has adopted a model that promotes prevention policies and avoids the use and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourist activity.
On Vacation is pleased to inform that our segmentation of minors is as follows:
- Infant: From 0 days old to 2 years and 364 days old.
- Child: From 2 years to 17 years and 364 days.
These dates will be taken into account at the time of check in of our travelers to the hotels.

For purposes of registration at the hotel, underage guests who will be staying without their parents or legal guardian, must present a housing permit signed and notarized by both parents or legal guardian according to law 1098 of 2006 and law 1336 of 2009, failure to comply may be punishable by criminal and administrative sanctions according to current laws.
