What is the most common way to get to Girardot?
Access to Girardot is most common and easy by land due to its proximity to Bogotá (approximately 130 km) and the good road network that connects it to other major cities. Girardot is served by Santiago Vila Airport, located in the municipality of Flandes, 3.2 km away, although air traffic is limited. The nearest airports with the most traffic are Perales Airport in Ibagué and El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá. For these reasons, most visitors prefer to arrive by road.
What documents do I need if I travel by plane?
For Colombian citizens citizenship card, identity card or civil registry depending on age, for foreign citizens, you must verify with the immigration authorities of your country what documents you need to enter Colombia. Minors under 7 years of age must present at the time of boarding the flight: Original or copy of the civil registry issued by the Notary's office and with original stamps. Minors between 7 and 17 years old, valid identity card and original civil registry. Notes: In no case will photocopies or images of the document be accepted. Minors not traveling with their parents must bring permission from the guardian or guardian duly authenticated by a notary.
What currency do you receive at the hotel and destination?
Colombian Pesos. Payments can be made by credit and debit card, most credit cards are accepted. There is no ATM service at the hotel.
