Airline code shares
A code-share agreement is an agreement entered into by two airlines to jointly operate a specific route. Its main purpose is to "share" the sale of seats on specific flights, with one airline being the operator of the route (aircraft, crews, permits) and the other the marketer (ticket sales), placing its code on the flights/routes of the first, according to their private agreements.
In application of the regulations in force for air transportation, the responsibility of the marketing and operating airlines is joint and several, without prejudice to the agreements and limitations made by the airlines to these rules, by private or governmental agreements.
Accordingly, On Vacation, as an intermediary in the contracting of code-share airline tickets, is not responsible for, nor does it interfere in the private legal agreements subscribed between the participating airlines. Therefore, it is not responsible for their agreements, nor for their modifications or implementations.
